Icelandic President îlafur Ragnar Grmmsson shakes hands with LDS President Gordon B.Hinckley after a dedication ceremony for the Icelandic Memorial in Spanish Fork Saturday, June 25, 2005. The event was part of the sesquicentennial celebration put on by the Icelandic Association of Utah, marking 150 years since the arrival of the first Icelandic immigrants to the area, and included a western-themed dinner, a family festival and the re-dedication of the monument.
